In the context of
sustainable energy infrastructure, a comprehensive
topographic survey has been completed for an ambitious photovoltaic plant project spanning 110 hectares. Our expert technicians employed state-of-the-art survey technology, including the DJI Matrice 350 drone with Lidar scanning systems, complemented by GPS Zenith 60 technology. Despite the extensive project area, field operations were efficiently completed in
just 2 hours. The
drone operated autonomously, following a predefined path and
capturing thousands of measurement points per second. The subsequent
data processing phase, which lasted two days, transformed the raw scan data into actionable insights for the plant’s executive design. Integrating data extraction and modelling software enabled the creation of accurate 3D models, generating detailed terrain cross-sections and essential construction documentation for photovoltaic plant planning. This
digital model, an exact
virtual replica of the terrain, facilitated the creation of detailed sections and the generation of all the necessary technical documentation to
design the photovoltaic plant with maximum efficiency and precision.
