The geomatics technicians of Monitor the Planet conducted a detailed survey using a Riegl VZ400I terrestrial laser scanner, creating a complete 3D model of the area to support the executive design of photovoltaic pergolas. Integrating GPS data through the Zenith 60 topographic instrumentation allowed us to establish a precise reference system, essential for future construction interventions. Despite the project's complexity,
the field survey was completed in 60 minutes, followed by
3 days of data processing and 3D modellingusing specialized software such as Riscan Pro, 3DR Hexagon and Xpad Office Fusion.
