Monitor the Planet through the Relevia association www.relevia.it, has launched a specific project to propose itself to local authorities as a possible reference for the implementation of the actions envisaged by the European Union Strategy for adaptation to climate change.
The idea is to organize meetings throughout the Italian country, between experts in geomatics and local administrations or competent authorities.
The aim is to strengthen the scientific knowledge of these organisms in geomatic matters and therefore the critical skills necessary for the development of a culture of risk, which aim at reducing territorial vulnerability.
This is because the damage produced by "inaction" can be higher than the costs of actions themselves.
