Project: Periodic landslide monitoring, in collaboration with Leica Geosystems
Year of realization: 2016
Locality: Stigliano (MT)
In the installation of the local monitoring network carried out in Stigliano, we supported Leica Geosystems in monitoring an active landslide in the country.
The system, based on landmarks materialized on site and configured in a local area, was installed and configured in 3 days.
Entering the specific instrumentation installed on site, a Leica TM50 total station of angular precision 0.5 "(0.15 mgon) was installed: this station was installed on a concrete pillar materialized on site, according to Leica technical specifications (insulated and in CA). We then proceeded to install 20 prisms connected to the buildings, of which 3 are considered "topographical orientation points" while the remaining 17 are reference points for the recording of landslide movements.
