The planning of transport and the territory, with a systemic approach to the problem of transports themselves, has the objective of providing an adequate solution for the configuration of sets of interventions, identifying functional and performance characteristics, the effects, and the impacts that the modifications made to the transport system will have on different subjects.
We lend particular attention to those transport planning processes where the instruments used to analyse, simulate, and evaluate the networks and their impact on the territory are organically linked to environmental protection activities, economic and social development, landscape protection, improvement in the organisation of settlements and, at the same time, to seize those opportunities that may guarantee the feasibility and sustainability of the works. We provide support in the planning of transport networks and systems and their components, for the integration planning of transport, the territory, and public space, with a view to guaranteeing the quality of the environment and the landscape.
